長期間嵌在し頸部蜂窩織炎をきたした内側翼突筋内魚骨の1例

I．はじめに

　咽頭の魚骨異物は，日常診療においてしばしば遭遇する疾患であり，口蓋扁桃や舌根扁桃に刺入しているのが確認され経口的に摘出されることが多い。しかし粘膜下や，さらに深部に刺入した魚骨などについてはその存在の有無，部位の診断が困難となる。

　今回われわれは，内側翼突筋内に長期にわたり埋没し膿瘍を形成した魚骨異物の1症例を経験したので，若干の文献を加え報告する。

　A 51-year-old male presented with a fish bone foreign body which pierced the pharynx and stuck in the medial pterygoid muscle. He suffered from pharyngalgia just after ingesting fish. No foreign body was found by routine examination including fiberscopic examination. Several days later,the pharyngalgia disappeared. However,about 1month later,he noticed a swelling of his neck with pharyngalgia and trismus. CT scan revealed the foreign body in the medial pterygoid muscle. An extra-cervical incision was performed to access the foreign body and pus was drained. Postoperative course was satisfactory without severe complications.
