舌根部神経鞘腫の3例

Neurilemmoma of the base of the tongue. A report of three cases

I．はじめに

　神経鞘腫はシュワン細胞に由来する良性腫瘍であり，視神経，嗅神経を除く頭頸部領域の神経にも比較的多く認められる。口腔・咽頭領域での発生は比較的稀であるとされているが，そのなかでは舌に好発し，その発生率は口腔・咽頭領域の神経鞘腫のうち35～45％と高い^3～5）。

　今回われわれは中咽頭に発生した神経鞘腫3例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 12-year-old female,a 16-year-old male,and a 17-year-old female presented with tumor of the base of the tongue. The tumor was completely removed in each case through the oral approach under general anesthesia. The extirpated tumors were diagnosed of neurilemmoma. They had no lingual paralysis or taste disturbance after surgery,therefore the origin of the neurilemmomas could not be identified. No recurrence was seen in all patients.
