  • Look Inside

A 28-year-old female presented with a small red tumor in the right bulbar conjunctiva of one year's duration. By slitlamp biomicroscopy, it appeared as a hemangioma of 1.5mm in diameter. By fluorescein angiography, the center of the angioma was initially hypofluorescent. Extravasation set in the late phase. Indocyanine green angiography showed convoluted vessels in the angioma and the presence of feeder arteries. The whole tumor area showed homogenous fluorescence initially to fade out later. The base of the angioma showed hyperfluorescence in the late-phase ICG angiogram suggesting dye pooling. Argon laser photocoagulation to the angioma and the feeder vessels in two sessions led to complete obliteration.
