新生血管黄斑症に対する連続波Nd：YAGレーザー光凝固治療

Photocoagulation with continuous wave Nd:YAG laser for neovascular maculopathy

　連続波Nd：YAGレーザー光凝固治療を施行した新生血管黄斑症22症例22眼に対して，視力検査，螢光眼底検査，自動量的視野計オクトパスを用いて，光凝固の新生血管閉塞効果と黄斑部視機能に及ぼす影響について6〜16か月間にわたって検討した。視力は20眼（90.9％）で術前と同じ程度あるいは改善を認めた。螢光眼底検査では，20眼（90.9％）で新生血管を消退させることができた。オクトパスによる中心視機能の変化は，4眼（40％）に改善を認めた。これらの所見より，連続波Nd：YAGレーザー光凝固は新生血管黄斑症に対する治療手段として有用であると考えられた。

We treated 22 eyes, 22 patients, with neovascularmaculopathy with continuous-wave Nd:YAGlaser. The cases were followed up for 6 to 16months. The effect of treatment was evaluated byrepeated visual acuity testing, fundus photography,fluorescein angiography and automated static per-imetry. The visual acuity either improved orremained unchanged in 20 eyes, 91%. Fluoresceinangiography confirmed disappearance of neovas-cularization in 20 eyes. The central visual fieldimproved in 40%. The findings seemed to show thatphotocoagulation with continuous-wave Nd:YAGlaser is useful in the treatment of neovascularmaculopathy.
