後嚢切開術後にぶどう膜炎が再発した2例

Recurrence of uveitis in two cases following laser capsulotomy

　ぶどう膜炎の既往がある後発白内障2眼に対してNd：YAGレーザーによる後嚢切開を行い，その3日後以内にぶどう膜炎が再発した。後嚢切開後，1眼ではぶどう膜炎の再発頻度が増加し、遷延化した。他の1眼では強い硝子体混濁が生じた。ぶどう膜炎の既往がある後発白内障では，後嚢切開術後にぶどう膜炎の再発がありうることと，実施に際してはその時期と手技に配慮する必要のあることが結論される。

We performed posterior capsulotomy using Nd: YAG Iaser in two eyes with previous history of uveitis. The uveitis recurred within 3 days after capsulotomy followed by increased frequency and persistence of uveitis in one eye and by intense vitreous opacity in the other. These cases illustrate that recurrence of uveitis is a liability in predisposed eyes following laser capsulotomy. Particular attention is necessary in its timing and actual laser modalities.
