18日間放置されたヤマトマダニによる眼瞼咬刺症

Infestation by a tick (Ixodes ovatus) in the eyelid for eighteen days

　63歳女性の左上眼瞼縁に，18日前から腫瘤が生じた。細隙灯顕微鏡による観察で，腫瘤は生きている虫体であることが判明した。殺虫剤で処理した後，外科的に除去した。虫体はヤマトダニlxodesovatusと同定された。本症例は従来の報告の中で生きたまま，最も長く眼瞼に放置された例である。

A 63-year-old female presented with a tumor in her left upper eyelid of 18 days' duration. Slitlamp examination showed the tumor to contain a living worm. The worm was excised after treated by topical insecticide. It was later identified as a tick, Ixodes ovatus. This is the case that the living tick was left in eyelid for the longest time.
