（18-レセ2-3）　原発開放隅角緑内障に対するマイトマイシンC （MMC）併用トラベクレクトミーの眼圧下降効果について，緑内障内眼手術の既往のない19眼（A群）と既往を有する19眼（B群）の間で比較した。術後48か月での眼圧調整率（眼圧≦15mmHg）はA群では無治療で72％，薬物併用で77％，B群では無治療，薬物併用ともに62％で，両群間に有意差はなかった。術後眼圧コントロール良好眼の平均眼圧はA群で7.0〜9.2mmHg,B群で6.8〜10.9mmHgであった。術後合併症は両群間で有意差はなかった。MMC併用トラベクレクトミーは，緑内障内眼手術の既往がある原発開放隅角緑内障でも，有効な眼圧下降効果を示した。

We evaluated the longterm effect of trabeculectomy with topical mitomycin C on 38 eyes with primary open angle glaucoma. The series comprised 19 eyes with no previous surgery (group A) and 19 eyes with past history of glaucoma surgery (group B). At 48 months after surgery, the intraocular pressure (IOP) was controlled at 15 mmHg or less in 72% of eyes without medication and in 77% with medication in group A. IOP was controlled in 62% with or without medication in group B. The IOP values in well-controlled eyes ranged 7.0-9.2 mmHg in group A and 6.8-10.9 mmHg in group B. There were no differences in postoperative complications between the two groups. The findings show that trabeculectomy with topical mitomycin C is effective in eyes with past history of glaucoma surgery.
