正常者の眼窩形態

Morphometry of normal orbit

　正常者の眼窩の形態を，CT画像を用いて検討した。15歳以下の小児例と16歳以上の症例間に，眼窩軸角，眼窩口横径，篩骨洞横径，両水晶体中央間距離に統計学的有意差を認め，眼窩の発達とともに，眼窩は開散位方向へ変化することが推測された。水晶体中央間距離が眼窩口横径，篩骨洞横径と高い相関を示し，眼窩軸角とも正の相関を示したことより，眼窩口横径，篩骨洞横径の発達が，水晶体中央間距離を大きくさせ，同時に眼窩を開散位方向へ変化させていくことが推測された。また，水晶体中央間距離に性差をつくる要因として，篩骨洞横径の関与が大きいことが推測された。

We measured the shape of orbit in 123 normal persons of both sexes. We used computed tomogra-phy to determine the axial angle of orbit, maximal transverse orbital diameter, transverse diameter of the ethmoidal sinus and the distance between the centers of both crystal lenses. All the four valueswere different between subjects below 15 years and those over 16 years of age. The distance between the centers of both lenses was positively correlated with the other 3 values. There was a significant difference in interlens distance between males and females, apparently due to sexual difference in transverse diameter of the ethmoidal sinus.
