白色瞳孔9症例の超音波所見

Ultrasonographic findings in nine eyes of leukocoria

　白色瞳孔9症例11眼の画像所見について，超音波所見を中心に検討した。内訳は，第一次硝子体過形成遺残（以下PHPV）6例8眼，網膜芽細胞腫3例3眼であった。網膜芽細胞腫では全例で，またPHPVのうち5例7眼で，超音波検査によって診断が得られた。この結果から白色瞳孔の鑑別診断において超音波検査は有用な検査の一つであり，しかもその簡便さから対象が小児である白色瞳孔において第一に選択すべき検査であることを確認した。

We reviewed 9 eyes of leukocoria regarding ultrasonographic findings, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. The final diagno-sis was persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous(PHPV) 6 eyes and retinoblastoma 3 eyes. All cases of retinoblastoma and 5 eyes of PHPV could be diagnosed by ultrasonographic findings alone. We advocate ultrasonography as the first choice of noninvasive examination for leukocoria.
