成人型封入体結膜炎患者の血清抗クラミジア抗体

Serum antibody to Chlamydia trachomatis in adult inclusion conjunctivitis

　結膜からChlamydia trachomatisが検出された成人型封入体結膜炎患者（クラミジア群）26例を対象とし，ELISA法により血清抗クラミジア抗体を測定した。同時に，クラミジア陰性の急性濾胞性結膜炎患者（結膜炎群）25例，健常人28例についても検討した。クラミジア群の抗体陽性率は，25例（96.2％），IgA抗体21例（80.8％），IgG抗体23例（88.5％）であった。結膜炎群では，7例（28.0％），IgA抗体2例（8.0％），IgG抗体7例（28.0％）が，健常人では，7例（25.0％），IgA抗体4例（14.3％），IgG抗体6例（21.4％）が抗体陽性であった。クラミジア群では，高頻度に抗クラミジア抗体が検出され，血清抗体の測定は，クラミジア結膜炎の補助的診断法となりうると考えられた。

We evaluated the antibodies against Chlamydia trachomatis in the serum by enzyme-linked im-munosorbent assay (ELISA) in 79 cases. They comprised 26 cases of adult inclusion conjunctivitis (Chlamydia group), 25 cases of acute follicular conjunctivitis (non-Chlamydia group) and 28 healthy adults. In Chlamydia group, specific anti-bodies were detected in 25 (96%), IgA antibodies in21 (81%) and IgG antibodies in 23 (89%). The positive rates for IgA antibodies were 8% in non -Chlamydia group and 14% in healthy adults. IgG antibodies were positive in 28% in non-Chlamydia group and 21% in healthy adults. The incidence of specific serum antibodies were thus significantly higher in Chlamydia group than in the other two groups. The present method promises to be of value in the diagnosis of chlamydial conjunctivitis.
