シリコンオイル下の眼内増殖膜の病理組織像

Histopathological features of proliferative membranes in eyes with intravitreal silicone oil

　シリコンオイルの眼内増殖に対する影響をみるため，シリコンオイルタンポナーデ下での網膜復位眼（黄斑上増殖膜症）1眼および非復位眼（増殖性硝子体網膜症）2眼の眼内増殖組織を硝子体手術によるシリコンオイル抜去時に採取し，組織学的に比較検討した。網膜剥離のなかった黄斑上増殖膜症症例の増殖膜では，シリコンオイルを貧食したと思われる細胞はわずかであり細胞質も乏しかった。非復位網膜である増殖性硝子体網膜症症例の増殖膜では，豊富な間質と多数のシリコンオイルを貧食したと思われる空胞のある細胞がみられた。シリコンオイルの眼内増殖に対する影響には網膜の復位・非復位が関与しており，非復位網膜においては旺盛な眼内増殖がみられた。

We performed histopathological studies in an eyewith epiretinal membrane pucker (EMP) and 2eyes of proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR).Theretina remained attached in the eye with EMPduring vitrectomy. A few macrophages containingsilicone oil were present along the internal limitingmembrane of the retina. Extracellular material wasscarce. The specimen from the PVR eyes showednumerous cell components with vacuoles of siliconeoil and plenty extracellular material. The clinicaland the histological findings seemed to suggest thatthe formation of preretinal proliferative membranewas related to whether the retina was in attachedor detached state under silicone oil.
