糖尿病性黄斑浮腫に対する星状神経節ブロック療法

Stellate ganglion block for diabetic macular edema

　糖尿病性黄斑浮腫8例8眼に，星状神経節ブロック（SGB）を施行した。SGB施行回数は，1例は29回，残りの7例は10〜11回であり，術後3か月間経過観察した。最終観察時点で，8例中4例に視力改善，3例に螢光眼底所見の改善が認められた。汎網膜光凝固後の6例については，視力および螢光眼底所見の改善は2例，不変は3例であった。臨床的にグリッドパターン光凝固や酸素療法と同等の効果をもつ治療手段であると考えられた。

We treated 8 eyes with diabetic macular edema by repeated stellate ganglion block. Stellate gan-glion block was performed once a day during 10 to 29 consecutive days. When evaluated 3 months after treatment, the visual acuity had improved in 4 eyes. Fluorescein angiographic findings had im-proved in 4. In 6 eyes with prior panretinal photocoagulation, the visual acuity and angiogra-phic findings improved in 2 eyes and remained unchanged in 3. The beneficial effects of stellate ganglion block appeared to be comparable with grid photocoagulation and oxygenation therapy.
