ヒト涙液ライソゾーム酵素活性，特にリゾチーム活性に対するアミノ配糖体抗生物質の影響

Effect of aminoglycoside antibiotics on the lysosomal enzymes in the tear fluid

　ヒト涙液中のライソゾーム酵素であるリゾチーム，酸フォスファターゼ，N-アセチル-β-D-グルコサミニダーゼ活性に対するアミノ配糖体抗生物質の影響を検討し，以下の結果を得た．用いたアミノ配糖体抗生物質はすべてリゾチーム活性を阻害したが，他酵素に対してはベカナマイシンを除いては活性に影響は認められなかった．一方他種の抗生物質であるサルベニシリンとエリスロマイシンは，これらの酵素活性をほとんど阻害しなかった．以上のことから，アミノ配糖体抗生物質のリゾチームに対する阻害作用は特異的であり，したがって外眼部感染症の予防を目的とした点眼は，結膜嚢の自浄作用にとって，重要なリゾチーム活性を阻害しないアミノ配糖体以外の抗生物質の使用が望ましいと思われた．

Six aminoglycoside antibiotics were evaluated as to their effect on the activity of lysozyme, acid phos-phatase and N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase in the tear fluid in humans. All the six antibiotics strongly inhibited the lysozyme activity. They showed, except for bekanamycin, little effect on the activity of acid phosphatase or N-acetyl- beta-D-glucosaminidase. Other antibiotics, including sulbenicillin and eryth-romycin, did not manifest inhibitory effects on lysozyme, acid phosphatase or N-acetyl-beta-D-glucosaminidase.

The findings indicate that the inhibition of lysozyme by aminoglycosides is of very specific nature. The precaution is necessary in the use of aminoglycoside antibiotics against bacterial eye infections because of the likelihood of decreased effectiveness of the protec-tive system in the tear fluid.
