巨大な眼瞼脂腺癌の1例

A case of giant sebaceous cell carcinoma in the eyelid

　巨大な上眼瞼の悪性腫瘍を経験した．症例は20年前から存在していた霰粒腫が増大したものと患者自身が考え，巨大になるまで放置されていたもので，この症例に我々は根治手術を行った．本症はSebaceous cell carcinomaであり，その臨床像・組織像などを合わせて報告した．経過良好で現在のところ再発・転移を認めていない．

A 76-year-old female presented with a tumor in the right upper eyelid which she noticed 30 months before. The tumor was considerable in size measur-ing 20 by 35mm. The right preauricular lymph gland was also swollen. The patient had undergone chalazion excision from the same site at the age of 23 and 43. The condition was successfully treated by radical surgery involving the right facial hemis-phere. Chalazion-like lesions in the aged subjects need particular care in the diagnosis and thera-peutic approach.
