原田病の経過についての検討—ステロイド大量投与例と非投与例の比較

Clinical course of Harada's disease. A critical evaluation of massive corticosteroid therapy

　原田病に対するステロイド全身大量投与による治療法（以下大量療法と略す）の評値を改めて行うために，その施行例19例と，非投与の8例の臨床経過を比較し，検討を行った。その結果，大量療法を行った19例中11例が，非投与8例中1例が遷延型となった。大量療法を行った群に遷延型となったものが多かった。

We reviewed the clinical course of 27 cases with Harada's disease and evaluated the effectiveness of systemic corticosteroid administration which is one of the preferred methods of treatment for this dis-ease. Out of these 27 cases, 19 were treated with massive dosis of systemic prednisolone (Group A) and 8 were treated with non-steroidal anti-inflam-matory agents (Group B).

The two Groups differed in the following three clinical aspects. Generally, the iritic signs, e.g. cell floaters in the anterior chamber, lasted longer in Group A than in Group B.
