長掌筋（M．palmaris longus）の腱を用いた眼瞼下垂の手術

Repair of blepharoptosis by application of flexor tendon of foream

　（1）長掌筋腱を利用した新しい吊揚げ手術法について述べた。

　（2）先天性眼下垂の5例9眼におこない，術後経過4ヵ月から1ヵ月であるが全例とも経過は良好である。

　（3）長掌筋腱は傷跡が目立たずに採取でき，しかも何らの機能障害も残さないため，大腱筋膜を利用する方法よりも優れており，今後活用されるべき方法と考える。

Severe blepharoptosis is generally corrected by fascia lata suspension procedure. However, this procedure leaves ugly scar on the thigh. We applied, therefore, the tendon of the long palmar muscle as the sling material. This tendon can be obtained directly through two or four small incisions in the forearm, and they leave scarcely recognisable scar. Nine eyes of five cases with congenital blepharopto-sis were operated by this procedure with good success. This tendon was well tolerated.
