　糖尿病性網膜症眼15眼，網膜中心静脈血栓症眼1眼の16眼に合併した出血性緑内障に対し，数種の外科的療法を試みた結果，線維血管膜が隅角部に完成されない早期（新分類Ⅲa以前）に，減圧療法としての線維柱帯切除術と，眼底循環改善療法としての汎網膜光凝固療法または網膜周辺部冷凍凝固療法とを併用実施することが，視力の保持ならびに眼圧の正常化に対し有効であると結論した。

Fifteen eyes with proliferative diabetic retino-pathy and one eye with central retinal vein occlusion complicated by neovascular glaucoma were treated by trabeculectomy, panretinal photocoagulation, peripheral retinal cryotherapy and/or cyclocryo-therapy. Four stages of rubeosis iridis were distin-guished regarding the extent of rubeosis: Ⅰ, peri-pupillary dots which was a part from dilated vessel; Ⅱ, early neovascularisation mainly in the trabeculum; Ⅲ, neovascularization on iris root (ciliary zone); and Ⅳ, prominent rubeosis with secondary angle-closure glaucoma.
