胸部帯状ヘルペスに伴つた視神経網脈絡膜炎の1例

A case of bilateral optic neuroretinochoroiditis associated with intercostal herpes zoster

　胸部帯状ヘルペスに続いて両眼視神経網脈絡膜炎をきたした53歳女性に対して，抗ウイルス剤Cyclocytidine, Betamethasoneの全身投与を行ない症状の改善をみたが，その後左側の耳鳴，難聴を伴う左眼症状の再燃をきたした症例を経験した。眼部以外の帯状ヘルペスに続発した両側の視神経網脈絡膜炎はこれまでに報告がなく，しかも，その眼科所見，耳科所見がVogt−小柳−原田症候群に類似している点もあり，興味ある症例と思われたので報告した。

An unusual association of intercostal herpes zoster with bilateral optic neuroretinochoroiditisis reported. A 53-year-old woman, who noticed blurred vision of both eyes ten days after the appearance of herpes zoster in the left 2nd inter-costal region, has been observed over a year. Her clinical course had some resemblances to Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome, whose etio-logical factor is ascribed to auto-immunity possibly provoked by a viral infection.

The initial ophthalmologic examination reveal-ed the presence of bilateral optic neuroretino-choroiditis and mild serous iritis.
