ヨモギ花粉症の9例

Nine cases of wormwood pollinosis

緒　言

　眼，鼻症状を主体とする花粉症は，眼科領域ではあまり知られておらず，現在までに数例の報告^1〜7）をみるにすぎない。

　今回，著者らは毎年9月初旬に発症し，10月中旬には全く無症状になる，ヨモギ花粉症と思われる9例を経験したので，その臨床所見を記載すると共に血清IgE値を測定し，若干の免疫学的考察を加えたので報告する。

We observed 9 cases with wormwood pollinosis of the eye with the following characteristic fea-tures. The patients were aged between 7 and 60 years. The majority were in their thirties. Females were predominantly affected with 7 females versus 2 males. All the cases manifested conjunctivitis and rhinitis of seasonal character. Some cases suffered from cough and skin itching. The dura-tion of the attack was confined to the period between early September and late October. In the present series, the patients had developed 2to 9 attacks in the same season before seeking medical advice.
