Juvenile retinal detachment

緒　言

　若年性網膜剥離は成人性，老人性の網膜剥離に比較して，原因・臨床症状・裂孔の形態・手術予後等の点で異なつた特徴を有することは，従来より多くの報告で明らかにされている^1〜4）。しかし，これらの網膜剥離の周辺部眼底を螢光眼底血管造影法ならびに細隙灯顕微鏡検査法によつて詳細に観察した研究はほとんど無い。われわれは過去3年間に経験した裂孔原性網膜剥離366例における周辺部眼底を螢光造影法，細隙灯検査法で観察した結果，瘢痕性未熟児網膜症の網膜剥離と原発性若年性網膜剥離において特徴ある周辺部網膜血管異常を認めたので，ここに報告し，その意義に関して考察を行うことにする。

We evaluated 366 cases of rhegmatogenous re-tinal detachment with a view to detect charac-teristic features of the disease related to ages. We divided the patients into 3 groups: juvenile (less than 20 years of age), young adult (21 to 39 years) and senile (over 40 years). Each group was compared with the others in terms of etio-logical factor, shape and location of retinal bre-aks, fluorescein angiographic and slitlamp findingsof the peripheral fundus.

Traumatic detachment was more common in the juvenile (25%) than in the senile group (4.1%).
