緒　言

　眼位異常を示す患者には，頭蓋内病変が多いとの報告^1〜4）はいくつか見られるが，眼位異常における脳波異常の報告^5,6）は少なく，しかもその中の個々の波形の検討はほとんど行われていない。

　著者らは眼位異常患者における脳波検査を実施したので，ここにその結果を報告する。

We performed an electro-encephalographic study on 169 strabismic patients including 131 cases of non-paralytic squint and 38 cases of pa-ralytic squit.

The abnormal EEGs were found in 16.8% of non-paralytic squint and in 23.6% of paralytic squint. With respect to the abnormal EEGs appearance of "seizure discharges" and "abnormal slow waves" were 77.3% and 22.7% respectively in cases with non-paralytic squint, while in cases with paralytic squint appearance of "seizure dis-charges" and "abnormal slow waves" were 11.0% and 88.9% respectively.
