先天性梅毒性角膜実質炎経過後の角膜の微細構造

Ultrastructure or the Cornea with Burnt-out Interstitial Kcratitis

緒　言

　先天性梅毒性角膜実質炎の炎症消退後に，角膜実質深層に，異常に肥厚したデスメ氏膜，あるいは，角膜内皮細胞面に，クモの巣様に凝集し，前房内に隆起している硝子様網状物質を残す事が，しばしば観察される。

　Vogtら^1〜3），は組織学的に，この硝子様網状物質の発生病理について報告した。更に，Edmondら^7〜10）は，電子顕微鏡的に観察し，この硝子様網状物質や，デスメ氏膜の滴状変性，および肥厚は変性内皮細胞が分泌形成したものであると報告している。

We examined the corneal tissue of a 61-year-old female who had suffered from congenital syphilitic interstitial keratitis 40 years before. The tissue was obtained by penetrating kerato-plasty and was subjected to electron microscop icstudy.

Collagen fibers of 1,000Å periodicity were present in deeper layers of the corneal stroma. The Descemet membrane underwent diffuse mul-tilaminar thickening and contained dense bodies and cellular debris of varying sizes. Fusiform and spindle-shaped bundles with a periodicity of 500 to 1,000Å and fine collagen fibrils of 150Å periodicity were arranged in the Descemet mem-brane.
