Central areolar choroidal atrophyと思われる1症例について

Central, areolar choroidal atrophy

I．緒言

　Central areolar choroidal atrophyについては1884年Nettleship氏がCentral senileareolar choroidal atrophyの名で60歳の婦人の両眼に乳頭から黄斑部一帯にわたり比較的限界の明瞭な脈絡膜萎縮を認めた事を報告して以来，1901年にはRetze氏が60歳の男子に，続いて1904年にはThompson氏が63歳の女子に同様な変化が認められた事を報告している。

　1935年に至りSorsby氏は2人の兄弟の眼底にCentral areolar choroidal atrophyを認めこの疾患の遺伝学的なものに注意を向けその後1953年Sorsby及びCrik氏等は本症を認めた4家系及び1935年に報告した2人の兄弟の家系について再び報告した。更にSandvig氏は1955年に4世代を通じて性に関係なく優性遺伝を示していると思われる1家系を報告し，なお1959年には2人の姉妹を含めた4例を報告している。又Ashton氏は1953年この疾患の唯一の死後剖見例を報告している。

A report is given on a case of monocular central, areolar choroidal atrophy.

The literature on the subject is reviewed, and the classification of heredofamiliar dege-neration of the chorioretina is discussed.
