角膜単純ヘルペスの統計的観察

Stastistical studies on herpes corneae simplex

　戦後，化学療法剤及び副腎皮質製剤の発達は，眼疾患の治療に著しい進歩をもたらしたが，その反面，副作用の存在も注目されて来た。角膜単純ヘルペス（以下単に「ヘ」と略す）も最近症例の増加，或いは重篤化の傾向を示している。しかしながら我国の最近におけるヘルペス性眼疾患の推移についての報告は，内海氏が昭和21年から22年迄，又山尾氏は昭和24年から26年迄の統計的観察を行つているのみである。私共は今回昭和29年から33年迄の5年間，板橋日大病院外来を訪れた「ヘ」患者の統計的観察を行い，知見をえたのでここに報告する。

A statistical observations were made on 58 cases of herpes simplex corneae who had visited our clinic in the 5 year period between 1954-1958.

(1) The number of the cases had increased annually and was more frequent in male and age groups between 20-50 years.

(2) This disease occurred frequently in spring and sporadically in autumn.

(3) The cases following febrile diseases were 33.3% of all cases and occupied the largest part.

(4) Sixty percent of all cases had history of palpebral herpes. Ten percent was com-plicated with palpebral herpes concomitantly with corneal herpes.
