前立腺癌の眼窩転移例

A case of orbital metastasis of prostatic carcinoma

I．まえがき

　転移性眼窩癌腫については内外諸家の報告があり，欧米では乳癌の転移が最も多く，肺癌がこれに次ぐと言われている（Boulanger,1956年）。しかるにわが国の報告を通覧すると，胃癌からの転移（5例）が最も多く，次いで乳癌（4例），肝癌（2例），膵，中耳，子宮及び卵巣癌（各1例）となつており，肺癌または前立腺癌の転移例は未だ報告されていない。

　私共は，骨盤転移を有する前立腺癌患者に現われた眼窩腫瘍が，女性ホルモンの投与，除睾術およびコーチゾン療法により，原病竈の軽快に伴つて著明に縮小した例を経験した。

A case (55 years old male) of prostatic carcinoma with pelvic and orbital metastasis was reported.

Marked visual disturbance and exophthalmos of the left eye were improved by castra-tion and administrations of female hormone and cortison with the improvement on urolo-gical symptoms. Accordingly, the diagnosis was confirmed.
