各種視神経及び網膜疾患に対するネオメタボリン（Thiamineβ-hydroxyethyl disulfide）の使用成績

Ophthalmological application of thimine β-hydroxyethyl disulfide on the diseases of optic nerve and retina

I．緒言

　Aneurinaseの研究によつてAllithiamineが発見せられ，次でその分離，合成が完成された。更に種々の同族体の研究が進められ，Thiamineallyl-disulfide（TAD），Thiamine methyl di-sulfide（TMD），Thiamine propyl-disulfide（TPD）等が合成された。

　TPD （アリナミン）は広く従来のビタミンB₁に代り臨床的に使用されると共に，多くの効果を上げて居るが，このTPDは経口的投与に際し強いニンニク臭があり，皮下注射，筋肉内注射には稍々強い疼痛がある。又静脈内注射に際しては，強烈なニンニク臭と共に血管痛を訴える場合等使用に際して不愉快な点がある。

The authors reported results of thiamine β-hydroxyethyl disulfide (TOED) on the diseases of optic nerve and retina.

1. In 6 cases of retrobulbar neuritis, 5 cases were obtained good results with treatment of TOED 10-40mg intravenous or intraarterial injection.

2. In 5 cases of simple and glaucomatous atrophy of optic nerve, 4 cases were obtained good results.

3. In I case of chronic neuritis there is no good result, but in a cases of acentral retinitis visual vision was improved.
