Sr90β線照射の角膜創傷治癒に及ぼす影響について

The effect of beta irradiation on corneal wound healing

緒言

　著者の1人植村はさきに眼臨52巻誌上に於いて，β線による前眼部殊に角膜障害に就いて報告し，又，角膜移植の際のβ線療法に関する実験的研究に於いて，照射眼に移植片の脱落，穿孔を起した例に遭遇し，移植の際のβ線療法に就いて注意を喚起した。そこで，今回はβ線照射の角膜創傷治癒に及ぼす影響に対し，次の諸点に就いて，臨床的及び病理組織学的に検索を試み，若干の成績を得たので茲に報告する。

　（1）β線照射の角膜上皮のみの創傷と，角膜実質に及ぶ創傷の各々の治癒に及ぼす影響の比較検討

Effect of corneal wound healing with Sr⁹⁰ beta-irradiation was studied and the results were as. follows :

(1) With the dosage up to 10,500 rad. (70min. ), no inhibition or delay was observed in epithelial regeneration clinically. Regeneration of Perforating corneal wound with trephine was markedly inhibited with the dosage above 4500 rad. (30min. ) clinically. But histological examination revealed dosage of 1500 rad. (10min.) already produced the inhibition of healing.
