角膜ヘルペスに対するタチオンの球結膜下注射の効果

Treatment of Corneal Herpes by Subconjunctival Glutathione

緒言

　角膜ヘルペスに対する治療については，種々の報告がある。しかし実質まで炎症がおよんだものには満足すべき効果が得られていない。グルタチオン点眼を初めに使用した小口氏以後タチオン点眼による効果は表層の角膜疾患に有効である。今回我々は角膜実質まで侵した重症の角膜ヘルペスに対し，タチオンの球結膜下注射を行ない，良好な成績を得たので報告する。

Five cases of advanced herpes corneae with massive parenchymal infiltration have been treated by subconjunctival injection of Tathion, a glutathione preparation.

Four cases showed remarkable improvement with better visual acuity following the treat-ment, while the remaining one case also react-ed favorably to the therapy with partial clear-ing of the cornea.

No side effects have been observed except for topical pain during subconjunctival infec-tion of Tathion.
