ペニシリン（軟膏）点眼にてアナフイラキシーショツクを起した1例に就いて

A Case of Anaphylactic Shock by Instilling Penicillin (Ointment)

　ペニシリンの発見以来，その治療的に果してきた功績は極めて大きいにも拘らず，近年ペニシリン（以後ペと略）使用による副作用の報告が増加してきた事は遺憾の至りである。即ちペの筋注更に試験的皮内注射，或は局所使用にて惹起されるアナフイラキシー又はアレルギー症状であり，その中で特に問題はペシヨツクで，最悪の時には死亡している。眼局所使用では未だ死亡こそ見ないが，田野氏（昭29），次で田辺氏（昭30）は市販ペ剤の点眼で，河東氏（昭31）は同様例にペ点眼反応を行い夫々ショツクを起した例を報告しており，Carter，Cope （1954）は眼軟膏で事故を起したようである。私も同様な症例を然も思いがけなく眼前で確認する結果となつたので，報告しておきたい。

A worker aged 29 had been instilled 2 drops of Rot's peny-my eye-wash by his nurse for the cure of the slightly burned eye with sodium sulfide solution and showed alletgic symptom 3 minutes later. An oculist instilled about 300 units of Penicillin-ointment into his eye, unconscious of his allergic symptom about 20 minutes later from that time. This resulted in anaphylactic shock in 1—2 minutes. The patient was completely cured by the treatment after 2 days. The author laid stress on that aplication of penicillin by general people should be inhibited, and that penicillin-instilling should be prudent.
