Studies on Trachoma Virus in our Laboratory.

　私がこの仕事に関与し出してから以後のことに就て，家兎睾丸及び孵化鶏卵による累代接種の2つに別けて記述してみたいと思う。

Author made a description of the serial passage in rabbit testicle and that in the chorioalla-ntoic membrane of fertile chick embryo.

Rabbit testicle : Inoculation of trachoma material into rabbit testicle gave, in serial pass-age, a positive result of 26%. Examination of inclusion bodies in the positive reacting testic-les showed in the endothelium of tunica vaginalis two different forms. Typus I resembled Prowazek-bodies and Typus II Guarnieri-bodies in shape ; and both foinas changed in shape eacch other during serial passage. It seemed, therefore, to indicate a link of life circle of this virus.
