眼部帯状疱疹の一例

A case of Herpes zoster at the eye

緒言

　眼部帯状疱疹は発疹と共に又は之に続き屡々眼球に種々の合併症を発する事があり，之が為に視力障碍を遺すことが多く予後が不良の疾患であつたがコーチゾンの臨床的応用によつて極めて良好な経過が報告されているが最近経験した一例を追加する。

A boy aged 12, went to ski on 12th of February, 1955, and 4 days after that, since 16th of February, herpes zoster of the right eye region appeared. Complicated with iridocyclitis, he came to hospital on the 23 rd of February. Pituitrin, aureomycin, grelan, and allopyrasalbro were administered, and 1% terramycin ointment was applicated to the affected skin. Eruption of the skin subsided, but ocular symptoms exacerbated, and headache, nausea and vomiting appeared. Cortisone was administered intra muscularly since the 28 th, and general condition became better from the next day.
