山陰地方の原発性緑内障の統計的観察

The statistical studies of promary glaucoma in Sanin district.

1．緒言

　緑内障に対する統計的観察は，従来色々と行われて来ていて，緑内障の病因及び，治療方針の探求のために重要な役割を演じている。私は一般的統計を行うと同時に，緑内障治療に依つて視力，視野をどの程度迄回復，又は保持出来るものであるか，又手術的療法を施した症例の手術前後に於ける視力，視野，眼圧の推移を統計的に観察して見た。

　又，原発性緑内障は人種により，或は地方によつてその罹患率を異にしている。本邦内だけでも地区によつて差異が認められるので，その統計をも試みた。

The numbers of primary glaucoma were 1.044% of the total patients which were the highest rate in the statistics of Japan. Femal were more than the male, morbid age was the highest in 6 decade. The morbidity rate was slighly higher in the right eyes. Intraocular pressure was higher in acute imflammatory glaucoma and lower in chronic and simple glaucoma. Hyperme-tropia were recognized frequently in acute inflammatoryglaucoma and in simpleglaucoma myopia were provedoften.
