Psychosomatic observations on six cases of primary glaucoma were made under the co-operation of ophthalmologists and psychiatrists, and on the basis of this obserrations, it was concluded as follows :

1. In four of six cases, close connection between the acute attack of inflammatory glau-coma and acute emotional disturbance has been confirmed.

2. It was assumed that a large percentage of ordinary attacks of glaucoma were parti-cipated by some emotional events.

3. Average profile of personality of glaucoma patients was anxiousness, nervousness, overconscientiousness and meticulousness.
