緒言

　わが教室でコンタクトレンズを処方し，製作した患者は昭和30年7月末日迄に総数309名575眼に達する。この内大多数をしめる261名495眼は日本人であるが，44名72眼はアメリカ人，残りの4名8眼が中国人である。コンタクトレンズ領域に於ける外国人の眼数が割合に多いのは，コンタクトレンズが海外では相当普及されている事からみても当然であろう。これ等の患者のうち昭和28年9月迄に処方した患者89名160眼についてはすでに発表（臨眼47巻12号65頁）したから，この度はそれ以後の患者176名333眼について調査した。

333 eye of 575 eyes of contact lens which were made by our clinic were studied.

The age of patients were 14 yr. to 53 yr. and the vision were -1.5 to -23.0 D. The habitual use of this lens were found in 128 eyes and the applicationtime ranged from one hour to all day, its average time were 6 hours in male and 4.5 hours in female. The totalap-plication time were longer in the case having one hour interval for 4 hours than in the case using it continuously.

Veil Sattler occured more less in former.
