内斜視患者の身体平衡機能に関して

Disturbance of Balance in Esotropic Children:Study of the point of the gravity at the sole

緒言

　斜視患者は眼位異常が相当強くても全身症状は軽微であるが，何らかの微小神経症状，すなわちminimum dysfunction syndromeが存在する例が多いことがLancetその他に疫学調査を中心に最近報告されている^1,2）。その他先天性内斜視に脳幹部の異常を報告している者もある^3）。しかし何らかの全身系の運動機能系の異常の存在を他覚的にしかも定量的に行なつた研究はまだ報告がない。前述の報告では前庭神経核と眼球運動神経核の間の障害を推定している。著者らは約2年前から身体平衡機能が斜視患者でいかに障害されているか否かについて興味をもち研究したところ，これらの患者は何らかの平衡機能障害が存在するという若干の興味ある結果が得られたのでここに報告する。

Point of gravity as converted at the sole was measured by a new apparatus of Gravicorder (Anima Type 1). This enables two-dimentional measurement of the point of gravity at the sole with the frequency response from 0 to 33 Hz in linear manner from 1 kg up to 100 kg of the bodyweight.

Twenty-nine esotropia with 6-8 years of age and healthy 81 controls withbut strabismus were studied. Fluctuation point of gravity du-ring 20 seconds of standing-state was involved mostly in esotropia of congenital origin. This was much lesser in esotropia with partial or total accommodative esotropia.
