内斜視と縮瞳剤—第6報新しいバリラックスレンズII型の調節性内斜視への応用

Treatment of Accommodative Esotropia with High AC/A Ratio by Means of Varilux Type II

緒言

　内斜視，特に調節性内斜視の非観血的療法として眼鏡矯正，縮瞳剤使用，バイフォーカルレンズ，バリラックスレンズI型，オーソプティクス（視能訓練）などが行なわれている。

　1956年Burianは，調節性内斜視で近見時に残余角を有する症例にバイフォーカルレンズを使用し，良好な成績を得たと報告している。本邦では内藤・石川らがバイフォーカルレンズを，田沢・魏・石川らはバリラックスI型をそれぞれ調節性内斜視に応用し，良好な成績を報告している。

Varilux lens (progressive lens) were used in fifty-eight cases of accommodative esotropia with high AC/A ratio in most of the cases. They were divided into two groups : 1. An or-dinary Va_rilux type I (35 cases) and 2. A new Varilux type II (23 cases) respectively.

The results for reducing the eso-deviation by two types of Varilux lenses were almost simi-lar with type I and type II.

In Verilux type I ; excellent : 14 cases (40% of total), fair : S cases (21%) and poor : 13 cases (39%)

In Varilux type II ; excellent : 9 cases (39%), fair : 12 cases (52%) and poor : 2 cases (9 %)
