A case of intermittent exophthalmos in a 18-year-old male is reported. While the right eye was enophthalmic in the usual state, exo-phthalmos developed under congestive condi-tions of the neck and head. Orbital venogra-phy led to the detection of varix-like lesion in the area of right superior ophthalmic vein. The lesion proved to be cavuernous hemangioma after partial removal of the tissue.
