I．緒言

　糖尿病性網膜症の薬物治療として，血管強化剤，血管拡張剤，血液抗凝固剤，各種ビタミン剤，ホルモン剤などが用いられているが，その効果はまちまちであり，決定的治療法が見当らないのが現状である。われわれ臨床医にとつて糖尿病性網膜症は頭の痛くなる疾患の一つで，適確な治療法の確立を切望するものであり，著者も種々薬剤を使用し，臨床的にその効果を検討している。

　今回はビタミンB₁，B₆，B₁₂の複合内服剤を糖尿病性網膜症に使用したので，その結果を報告する。

Seventeen patients with diabetic retinopathywere treated by vitamin B₁,B₆,B₁₂ compound oral tablets (Bitren). Patients were given 6 tablets daily for periods of 8 to 12 months. In 9 cases, apparent improvement in retinopathy set in which consisted of decrease or disappea-rance of capillary microaneurysms or hard exu-dates. No undesirable side effects were observed.
