眼窩内気体注入撮影法の臨床経験

Clinical Experience on Orbito-Pneumotomography

I．緒言

　眼球突出をきたす疾患，なかでも片側性眼球突出症の診断は，これをきたす疾患が全身性疾患を含む種々多岐にわたる原因によるがゆえに困難である。また，眼球突出をきたした原因が眼窩内にあると推定される場合であつても，眼窩ならびにその周囲器官の解剖学的複雑さにより，その鑑別診断は容易ではない。

　近年，眼窩腫瘍の診断にも，超音波検査器やアイソトープが使用されるようになつたが，レントゲン診断は，種々工夫と改良が加えられつつ，現在なお眼球突出症，特に眼窩腫瘍の診断のためには第一歩であろう。

Orbito-pneumotomography as described by Bertelsen was done in 29 of our patients with unilateral exophthalmos.

Twenty-three cases were diagnosed by this investigation.

Generally speaking, pneumotomograms of ge-nuine orbital tumors showed sharply demarcated shadow and increased soft tissue density.

Pneumotomograms of psudotumors and mu-cocele or pyocele of the paranasal sinuses showed obscurely demarcated shadow and increased soft tissue density. The shadow of mucocele or py-ocele of the paranasal sinuses was usually as-sociated with the paranasal sinuses.
