  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A case of pulseless disease in a 29-year-old female, in whom cardinal ophthalmological find-ings consisted of engorgement and irregular dilation of retinal vessels together with nu-merous microaneurysms in the periphery, was subjected to fluorescence fundus studies. Fol-lowing features were elicited through fluore-scein:

1. While the arm-to-retina circulation time was within normal range at 17 seconds, the laminar flow in the retinal veins persisted throughout the time of observation due to ex-cessive retardation of retinal blood flow.

2. Capillary microaneurysms were observed throughout over the fundus.
