I.緒言
前房内コレステリン結晶の析出は,比較的稀な疾患で,今までに本邦では,27例1)報告されている。私どもも最近その1例に遭遇したので報告する。
Massive accumulation of fine glistening white floaters in the anterior chamber was detected in the right eye of a 21-years-old male. The eye had become blind due to neglected retinal deta-chment 3 years before. The white floaters were analysed after anterior chamber puncture and proved to be cholesterin or its ester crystals. A hypothetic view is presented that the cho-lesterin represents the end product of the out-er layer of the retina which became degen-erated through detachment and the resultant contact with the vitreous fluid.
