Studies were made on human materials with the suction cup method following standard procedures.

1) In normal 200 eyes the amount of aque-ous fluid production averaged 14.4±0.12cu. mm/15min.

2) Administration of peroral Diazepam at the daily dosis of 4mg for 3 days did notcause any significant change in the amount of aqueous production in 15 normal eyes.

3) Systemic application of Dichlorphenamide (Daranide) at the daily dosis of 200mg for 3 days produced a striking decrease in the am-ount of aqueous humor production.
