第3回白内障研究会／白内障嚢外摘出術の合併症とその処置

The 3 rd Symposium on Cataract

　今泉（岩手医大）自内障グループディスカッションは3回目を迎え，今度の共通演題は嚢外摘出術の合併症とその処置ということになつておる。眼科専門医であればどなたも白内障手術をやらない人はない。然し如何に熟練した方でも，いつでも自分の思う通りに手術がゆくわけではなく，多少に拘らず不慮の合併症に遭遇するものである。その意味でこの合併症を最少限にくいとめることは，われわれに課せられた大きな問題である。

　先ず応募して下さつた4題の方に話していただき，それに関連した活発な発言をお願いするが，その後時間に余裕があれば，嚢外摘出術の合併症のうち皆様に最も関心のあるものからとり挙げて議題としたいと思う。只今配布したプリント（右表）は，起り得るあらゆる合併症を併記しておきましたので，関心のある題に印をつけて提出して下さい。

The Third Symposium on cataract was held on Nov.15, 1965, concomitantly with the An-nual Congress of Clinical Ophthalmology in Sendai. Complications in extracapsular extra-ction and their treatment were discussed as the central theme of the meeting. K.Imaizumi, Iwate Medical College, presented data concern-ing own 871 operated eyes during the foregoing 15 years. The clinical results indicated that more favorable postoperative vision could be obtained in cases in which discision of after-cataract was not necessary. Meticulous wa-shing of anterior chamber with Saline during surgery often supplanted operation for after-cataract.
