先天性眼球運動障害の分類

A Classification of Congenital Ophthalmoplegia

　最近，小児の眼科に対する関心が高まつてきたが，小児の眼筋疾患のうち，重要な部分を占める先天性眼球運動障害は，Duane症候群は別として，先天性眼筋麻痺として一括されているのが現状である。ところが，先天性眼球運動障害にも種々のものが含まれており，これらを正しく分類することが必要と思われる。そこで，先天性眼球運動障害を主として筋電図学的に検討し，これを次のように分類してみた。

1）核上性障害

Congenital ophthalmoplegia was classified by electromyographical observation as follo-ws : I) supranuclear palsy : 1) paradoxical in-nervation, and 2) disturbance of conjugate movements, II) neurogenic palsy : 1) nuclear palsy and 2) peripheral neurogenic palsy, III) myogenic palsy : 1) ocular myopathy, 2) fib-rosis, and 3) aplasia of muscle, and IV) me-chanical disturbance: 1) anomaly of antago-nist muscle and 2) localized change of orbit.
