眼科学における点眼剤の占める位置

The Place of Collyria in Present-Day Ophthalmology

　最近どの大学においても，眼科の専攻を希望するものが減少し，多くの公立病院においても眼科担当医師の補充に苦慮している。その原因は，㋑眼科医の収入が少ない事と，㋺眼科学そのものに若い人達が興味を失いつつある事の二つを挙げる事が出来る。

　この二つを如何にして解決すべきか，又それに関連して点眼剤が如何なる位置を占めるか，を述べる事がこの講演の目的である。

The present form of ophthalmological prac-tice is discussed and the implications of vari-ous ophthalmological activities as dispensing of spectacles or eye irrigations are analysed. The National Welfare Program, which sets the price for each item of diagnostic and the-rapeutic activities without regard to the trai-ning or speciality of the doctor and through which the price of medicaments is fixed at the bare manufacturing cost, has discouraged manufacturers of drugs to produce cost, has discouraged manufacturers of drugs to produ-ce collyria of high quality.
