眼底疾患に対するビタミンB12（フレスミンS）の使用経験

Use of Vitamin B12(Fresmin-S) for ocular fundus diseases

Ⅰ．緒言

　諸種神経疾患に対して，ビタミンB₁₂の大量投与が有効であることは内科，神経科領域に於ては既に諸家により報告されているところである。然しながら眼科領域に於てはその応用例が未だ少なく，最近に至り山下が三叉神経痛に，飯沼等が緑内障に，石川等が糖尿病性網膜症に使用した成績を発表している程度である。

　著者等は少しく趣を変えて眼底疾患特に黄斑部変性症，視神経萎縮を中心としてフレスミンS（1cc中1000μg）を試用し，若干の成績を得たので茲に報告する次第である。

16 cases were treated by perenterally ad-ministered hydroxocyanocobalamin at the daily dosis of 1mg.

Macular degeneration thus treated in stri-king improvement in one cases, in slight improvement in 2 cases and in no change in 3 cases out of a total of 8 studied cases.

3 out of 5 cases with optic atrophy or optic neuritis responded by objective improvement in symptoms.

The treatment caused headache and dizzi-ness in two cases as untoward side reactions.
