Betamethasone （Rinderon）点眼液の臨床的使用経験

Clinical Use of Rinderon (Betamethasone) Eye Drops

I．まえがき

　副腎皮質ホルモンは多くの眼疾患治療を頗る容易にしているが，眼科領域への導入初期及びDe—xamethasone出現時の著効ぶりは特に印象的である。最近更にそのDexamethasoneに勝る効力を有すると云われるBetamethasoneが米国Scherng会社で作り出され，Rinderonの名で我が国でも発売使用されている。眼疾患治療のためのRinderon全身的投与経験の報告は既に坂上等^1）（昭37），池田等^2）（昭37），生井等^3）（昭38），朝岡等^4）（昭38），及び馬嶋等^5）（昭38）によつてなされ，その著効性が証明されている。

　今回，我々は塩野義製薬株式会社から点眼点耳用リンデロン液の提供を受け，これを後述の例に臨床的に試用し，の2,3知見を得たので，その使用経験をここに報告する。

To evaluate clinical usefulness, 0.1% Rind-eron (Betamethasone) eye drops were admi-nistered usually four times daily to 24 cases with external eye disease and 13 cases after intraocular surgery for cataract or glaucoma. The results obtained were as follows :

1) Rinderon eye drops were markedly eff-ective against parenchymatous keratitis, ke-ratitis profunda, keratitis due to bee stings, scleritis, episcleritis and allergic conjunctivi-tis.

2) The eye drops caused distinct improv-ement in phlyctenular keratitis, keratoconju-nctival burns due to ammonia, vernal catarrh and phlyctenular conjunctivitis.
