新しい視能訓練装置を併用した間欠性外斜視に対する視能訓練効果

Treatment of intermittent exotropia using a new instrument

要約　目的：間欠性外斜視に対し，従来の方法に加え，新しい装置を用いて視能訓練を行った結果の報告。対象と方法：間欠性外斜視10例を対象とした。年齢は6～16歳，平均8歳である。矯正視力はすべて1.2で，3～12か月の訓練を行った。視能訓練には，3Dディスプレイ，映像制御と記録解析用コンピュータ，被験者用応答入力装置，偏光眼鏡による両眼分離装置などを用いた。結果：8例に抑制除去と融像改善効果があった。融像幅の中央値は，治療前の6Δが70Δに改善した。斜視角40Δ以上，または上下偏位のある2例には訓練効果がなかった。結論：今回の訓練装置では患児の集中が得られ，従来の方法と併用することで，抑制除去と融像改善効果があった。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the outcome of orthoptic training using a new and conventional instrument in patients of intermittent exotropia. Cases and Method：This study was made on 10 cases of intermittent exotropia. The age ranged from 6 to 16 yeaers, average 8 years. All the eyes had corrected visual acuity of 1.2. Orthoptic training was continued for 3 to 12 months. The instrument consisted of 3-dimensional display, a personal computer, and a pair of spectacles with polarizer. Results：Eight cases showed antisuppression effect and improved fusional ability. Median value of fusional angle improved from 6Δ before to 70Δ after training. Two cases showed no improvements who had deviation of 40Δ or vertical deviation. Conclusion：The present new instrument induced better concentration by the patients and resulted in elimination of suppression with improved fusional ability.
