Abstract. Purpose:To report 2 cases who showed lymph node swelling following surgery for breast cancer and who were finally diagnosed with sarcoidosis after ophthalmological examinations. Cases:Two females, aged 51 and 57 years, had received surgery for breast cancer 2 and 6 years before respectively. Lymph node swelling was detected after positron emission tomography(PET)and computed tomography(CT). Findings and Clinical Course:Both cases showed findings suggestive of ocular sarcoidosis. Lymph node swelling was finally diagnosed with sarcoidosis after additional histological or clinical data. They have been doing well for 15 and 12 months respectively until present. Conclusion:Ocular findings led to the diagnosis of sarcoidosis in 2 cases with past history of surgery for breast cancer and lymph node swelling.
