眼瞼下垂と眼瞼皮膚弛緩に対する術前後の視野とNEI VFQ25によるquality of life（QOL）変化との関連

Quality of life assessed by NEI VFQ25 questionnaire following changes in visual field after surgery for blepharoptosis or blepharochalasis

要約　目的：眼瞼下垂または上眼瞼皮膚弛緩に対する手術前後の視野面積と，quality of life（QOL）との関連の報告。対象と方法：過去1年間に手術を受けた眼瞼下垂19例と上眼瞼皮膚弛緩9例の計28例53側を対象とした。Goldmann視野計で視野面積を数量化した。QOLはアンケートで調査しNEIのVFQ25日本版を用いた。結果：視野の平均面積は，術後に有意に改善した（p＜0.01）。VFQ総合スコアは，下垂群では術前73.3±12.6，術後85.9±7.9であり，眼瞼弛緩群では術前74.0±1.1，術後76.9±8.4で，いずれも有意に改善した（p＜0.01）。両群を通じて改善した項目は，一般的な見え方，近見視力と遠見視力であった。視野測定では水平より上方のⅢ4eイソプターがスコア変化と有意に相関した。結論：眼瞼下垂または上眼瞼皮膚弛緩に対する手術後に視野が拡大し，QOLが向上した。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report changes in visual field and quality of life（QOL）following surgery for blepharoptosis or blepharochalasis. Cases and Method：This study was made on 19 cases of blepharoptosis and 9 cases of blepharochalasis who received surgery during a 12-month period. Visual field was measured by Goldmann perimetry. QOL was evaluated by questionnaire using NEI VFQ25 Japanese version. Results：Averaged area of visual field enlarged after surgery（p＜0.01）. Total VFQ score improved from 73.3±12.6 to 85.9±7.9 in cases of blepharoptosis and from 74.0±1.1 to 76.9±8.4 in blepharochalasis. Changes were significant in both groups（p＜0.01）. Visual acuity for near and far distance improved in both groups. Conclusion：Visual field area enlarged and QOL improved after surgery for blepharoptosis or blepharochalasis.
